Meet Our Counselor

Jodi Gibson - KUE Counselor

Hi, I’m Jodi Gibson, the school counselor at Kosciusko Upper Elementary! I’ve been part of the KUE family for three years and have spent eight years in education, helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. As a National Board Certified School Counselor and a National Certified Counselor, my passion is creating a safe and supportive space where students feel valued and heard.

Kosciusko has always been home—I was born and raised here and proudly graduated from Kosciusko High School. "Once a Whippet, always a Whippet!" From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children, and I truly believe that strong relationships are the foundation of effective school counseling. Seeing my students thrive and knowing I’ve made a difference in their lives is the most rewarding part of my job.

I’ve been happily married to my husband, Kaleb, for six years, and we love spending time together traveling, going to concerts, attending sporting events, and making memories. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me enjoying all things Disney or spending time with our sweet dogs.

I’m so grateful to be part of the Kosciusko Upper Elementary community and look forward to another great year with our amazing students and families!
